NEW BRUNSWICK EXPRESS ENTRY STREAM.

The New Brunswick Express Entry Stream is designed for Foreign Nationals with the skills, education and work experience to contribute to New Brunswick’s economy, who are ready to live and work in New Brunswick and meet the requirements for each stage of the Express Entry Stream.

1.  The New Brunswick Express Entry stream is currently accepting Expressions of Interest (EOIs) via the INB portal from individuals who meet all of the following submission criteria:

a. The applicant has submitted a federal Express Entry Profile and has a valid Federal Express Entry Profile Number and Job Seeker Validation Code.

b. The applicant is currently living and working in New Brunswick; a letter of employment from the employer must be provided

c. The applicant has a valid Canadian Work Permit; a pdf copy must be provided

d. The NOC Code for this current employment is for a position that matches NOC Level 0, A, or B: NOC Code must be provided

e. The applicant has valid language test scores (IELTS, CELPIP, or TEF Canada) with scores equivalent to CLB 7 in all four language competencies: test scores, and a pdf copy of these test results must be provided

f.  The applicant has a valid Educational Credential Assessment (ECA) which attests to the minimum equivalent of a Canadian High School diploma: a pdf copy of the ECA must be provided

All candidates invited in this manner must meet regular eligibility requirements of the program and submit a complete and correct application to be considered for provincial nomination.

2. New Brunswick will, on occasion, invite candidates directly from the federal Express Entry pool in response to provincial labour-market needs.

Candidates selected in this manner will receive a Notification or Letter of Interest (LOI) from the Province of New Brunswick via their Federal Express Entry account.

NEW BRUNSWICK SKILLED WORKER STREAM.

The New Brunswick Skilled Worker Stream is designed for Foreign Nationals who possess the skills, education and work experience needed to contribute to New Brunswick’s economy. Candidates must meet the program’s minimum eligibility requirements, have a genuine offer of employment from a New Brunswick Employer and have the full intent to live and work in the province on a permanent basis.

This program will also help New Brunswick employers, unable to fill job vacancies with a Canadian citizen or permanent resident, recruit foreign nationals and international graduates whose skills are needed in the province.

NEW BRUNSWICK ENTREPRENEURIAL STREAM.

The New Brunswick Entrepreneurial Stream is designed for experienced business owners and senior managers who wish to become permanent residents by owning a business in New Brunswick (NB) and managing it, while residing in the Province.

NEW BRUNSWICK POST-GRADUATE ENTREPRENEURIAL STREAM

The Post-Graduate Entrepreneurial Stream was developed for recent foreign graduates from a recognized university in New Brunswick (NB) or the NB Community College, who have studied for  at least two years full-time. The graduate must have subsequently started or acquired a business in NB and   operated it for at least one year, while on a valid Post-Graduate Work Permit. They must also settle in the province  permanently.

Eligibility Requirements

  • be between 22-40 years of age; and
  • have a score of at least on the Canadian Language Benchmark Test (CLB) in speaking, listening, reading and writing competencies in English or French; and
  • have completed a full-time New Brunswick post-secondary degree or diploma for at least two years (15 hours of class per week)  from a recognized university or community college; and
  • have resided in New Brunswick during the academic program (no distance-learning programs or compressed academic programs are eligible); and
  • have owned and operated a business in NB for at least one full year (100% ownership of business equity); and
  • have a valid post-graduation work permit; and
  • demonstrate their intention and ability to settle in NB.
