Mandatory Documents

Passport:-

Original passport that is valid for at least 6 months after the scheduled return. Old passports, if any, need to be submitted too.

Photograph:-

2 coloured photographs with white background. It should have 70-80% face view and should be 35mm x 45mm in size.

Covering Letter:-

A covering letter from the applicant mentioning their name, designation, passport no. and purpose & duration of visit. For self-employed/businessmen, the letter should be on plain paper and for employed individuals it should be on company’s letterhead. The letter should be duly signed by the applicant and addressed to ‘The Visa Officer, Canadian High Commission, New Delhi’.

Documents for Employed Individuals:

• Salary slips for the last 6 months
• Personal ITR /Form 16A for the last 3 years
• Updated personal salary credited & saving bank statements for the last 6 months.
• Updated Investment Documents/Papers
• NOC from Employer

Documents for Self-Employed/Businessmen:

• Personal & company’s ITR for the last 3 years
• Updated personal & company’s bank statement for the last 6 months.
• Updated Investment Documents/Papers
• Memorandum of Association or Partnership Deed or GST Certificate or Trader ID and Commission Proof.

Forms:

Filled and signed Visa Application Form with a copy of 2 bar code pages (printout of the page should be clear). Applicants also have to fill and sign family sheet, either online or offline (handwritten sheets should be in black ink). Lastly, a consent form that is duly filled and signed by the applicant.
